Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using chat.dev ("the Service"), operated by Anarchy Labs ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

chat.dev is a cloud platform for creating, deploying, and managing AI coding agents. The Service provides sandboxed virtual machine environments where AI agents (powered by third-party models such as OpenAI Codex) execute tasks on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Use agents to attack, compromise, or disrupt other systems or networks
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the Service to generate content that violates third-party rights
  • Circumvent any rate limits, usage quotas, or access controls

5. API Keys and Third-Party Services

You are responsible for any API keys you provide to the Service. We encrypt stored API keys at rest, but you acknowledge that keys are decrypted and used to make API calls on your behalf during agent execution. You are solely responsible for charges incurred through your API keys with third-party providers.

6. Agent Execution and Sandboxing

Agents run in isolated virtual machine environments. While we take reasonable precautions to sandbox agent execution, you acknowledge that AI agents may produce unexpected outputs or actions. You are responsible for reviewing and supervising agent activity. We are not liable for any damages caused by agent actions performed using your credentials or API keys.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all code, content, and data you provide to or generate through the Service. We claim no ownership over your content. The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Anarchy Labs.

8. Payment and Billing

Certain features may require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Compute costs for virtual machines are billed based on usage.

9. Digital Assets and Cryptocurrency

The Service may allow you to deposit, hold, and transfer digital assets (including but not limited to SOL and other cryptocurrencies) through integrated wallet functionality. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Digital asset transactions on blockchain networks are irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be undone, cancelled, or refunded.
  • Digital assets are not legal tender, are not backed by any government, and their value may fluctuate significantly. You bear all risk of loss related to price volatility.
  • We do not guarantee the security, availability, or correctness of any smart contract, wallet, or blockchain integration. Software bugs, vulnerabilities, network failures, or protocol changes may result in partial or total loss of funds.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of digital assets due to software defects, security incidents, incorrect addresses, network congestion, protocol forks, or any other technical or operational issue, whether within or outside our control.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying all transaction details (including wallet addresses and amounts) before confirming any transfer.
  • Deposited funds may be used to pay for platform services (compute, AI credits, agent wallets). Such usage is non-refundable.
  • We make no guarantees that deposited digital assets can be withdrawn or recovered. You should only deposit amounts you are prepared to lose.

BY DEPOSITING DIGITAL ASSETS INTO THE SERVICE, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THESE RISKS AND WAIVE ANY CLAIMS AGAINST ANARCHY LABS FOR LOSS OF FUNDS ARISING FROM THE USE OF THESE FEATURES.

10. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANARCHY LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LOSSES RESULTING FROM BUGS, ERRORS, OR VULNERABILITIES IN CRYPTOCURRENCY OR DIGITAL ASSET FUNCTIONALITY.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
